I recently got a Korg Kaoss Pad 2, and man that thing rocks!  To be 
honest, I haven;t actually used it yet in any of my own tunes, 
because I have been having so much fun running vinyl through it, I 
keep losing track of time.  I have a send bus from my mixer going 
into the line-in, and a Numark TT200 running straight into the phono 
ins.  You can then toggle between inputs (has a mic input as well) 
with a switch on the front panel.
