Your music is pretty cool... I like the logical way you develop ideas and the samples from a comedian (which remind me of Bill Cosby on "Himself") on 'jello speak' >>>Yeah, ummm...certainly my samples never came from that record. Definitely not, I mean that wouldn't be right huh? Definitely not from that record, even though I have it in my collection and it sounds amazingly similar to what I used. Yeah, um.... sure. :) <<<< and the guitar-like melody on last track which hits me in a similar way to one of U2's old songs. >>>Thanks, there's a different rendition of that song in my live set too, more info on that shortly. I started out playing the guitar, so it's always nice when I can use that in one of my songs. <<< I don't know what too call your music... Sort of electronic all the way through but with really varied nonelectronic influences? I don't know much about electronic music, so pardon if I stated the obvious... >>>No problem, I actually take it as one of the best compliments when people say they can't define my music, or that I have my own style. That's one of the msot important things to me, and the reason why I never took any lessons.<<< Any suggestions for a CHEAP & flexible effect unit for "live" use? >>>I really like the Korg Kaoss pad, don't have one myself, but it's a really cool unit for fairly cheap. <<< I like delays, tape delay and echos the most... >>>I like delays a lot too, by far my favorite effect category. Mmm...Ohm Force OhmBoyz can keep me entertained for hours.... <<< BTW, Anybody here using a command station with a dj cd player live? >>>Not yet, but I've been itching to get that new Denon CD deck really bad. I use one with regular tables though, so if you have any integration questions, fire away. <<< rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
