Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I was about to pick them up, been researching, talking to people for over a year, the 
only bad thing I heard one friend had to return them because they blew more than 
once...but then M-Audio came out with the BX5 the day I went to the store...I listened 
to them and in my opinion they crushed the Alesis's and they where only $300 
powered pair.  I highly recommend these instead of the MKII's, the BX8's are very nice 
also but I don't need something that loud (was always taught to mix at low volumes & 
my neighbors would flip!).  Skip the MK's and go with the BX5's
