I have had similar problems with MOTU in the past, which is why I 
won't ever buy anything they make again. I agree, the USB midisport 
is a great way to go, totally reliable - at least my 4X4 one is, on 
windows 2000, but I would be money it works great on XP as well. M-
audio is great with driver updates, unlike MOTU.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
