Thanks for the tip!
I´ll check those apps out, even though I haven´t  really experienced 
any trouble with sysex and cubase myself.

I agree,with sysex its better not thinking about whats going on 
between the machines too much (technophiles groan).

Anyway, I´d still recommend using a simple soft sequencer whilst 
learning the capabilities of eloader/midifiles.

There is no cure for the midi-life crisis but the xx7 eases the pain.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
