Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

The ROMs contain ALL of the sounds in that unit, including drums.  So you 
would get every single MP-7 sound if you get a mo-phatt ROM.  Probably 
cheaper to get a PX-7 and buy the Mo-phatt ROM, than it is to get just the 
MP-7!

When you install, for instance, the Pure Phatt ROM, do you only get 
the bass tones/pads/leads/sound effect/etc., or do you also get the 
drum tones that would be on the MP-7? I see that the PX-7 is the 
cheapest of the three models, so I'd likely be buying that one. 
However, I'd really like to add the hip hop tones/drums of the MP-7.
