rEalm, Let me get this straight....If I were to buy any one of these three machines, I can just pick up ROM packages (ie: Protean Drums, Mo'Phatt or Xtreme Lead) and install them on my version (let's say the XL-7), virtually giving me all three options in one handy machine? That makes the MC-505 look like an absolute joke, and I LOVE the 505! Wow, I cannot believe I haven't heard of these machines before now! Does the PX-7 have bass tones/synth tones/lead tones/etc. installed in it, or is it simply a drum machine (unless you add the other ROM packages)?
