Re: PX-7 vs XL-7 vs MP-7

2004-01-28 by Fab Claxton

rEalm,
Let me get this straight....If I were to buy any one of these three
machines, I can just pick up ROM packages (ie: Protean Drums,
Mo'Phatt or Xtreme Lead) and install them on my version (let's say
the XL-7), virtually giving me all three options in one handy
machine? That makes the MC-505 look like an absolute joke, and I LOVE
the 505! Wow, I cannot believe I haven't heard of these machines
before now! Does the PX-7 have bass tones/synth tones/lead tones/etc.
installed in it, or is it simply a drum machine (unless you add the
other ROM packages)?
