Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,
I'm having some difficulties using the XL-7 w/computer-based 
sequencers. I have the same problem on my MC-505, but I have 
successfully accomplished this with my CS6X synth.

I am trying to run Cubase SX with 16 midi channels running the XL-7. 
The problem is that all the data goes to one midi channel regardless 
of which midi channel it is assigned to. It seems like it is using 
midi type 1 which routes all midi data to 1 channel. So how would I 
get it into type 0? I have tried to change the midi settings within 
the XL-7, but nothing seems to be working the way it is suppose to.


Any suggestions?
