If you're trying to play the XL-7 from Cubase, you'll need to turn rechannelize off. If you're trying to import MIDI files from Cubase into the XL-7, either type 0 or type 1 should work fine. For type 0, the tracks will be forced to their respective channels (i.e. track 1 to channel 1, etc.) For type 1, each track will retain whatever data is on it (i.e. if you have channel 2 data on track 7, track7 will be forced to channel 2. likewise, if there's more than one channel's data on a track, it will be forced to Multi A). -Aaron --- Paul McCarthy <dj_alcapaul@...> wrote: > Hi, > I'm having some difficulties using the XL-7 w/computer-based > sequencers.
