> whats up guys(and gals) im prety stupid on a lot of things so dont > laugh...but i was wondering what is the diffrents in running your > command to your computer in midi then running it in audio... not sure what you mean, but if you're talking about sequencing MIDI vs. audio, the difference is that with MIDI you'll still need the XL to play back the track once you've recorded on the computer, but if you record audio, the XL becomes expendable (fie!) after the track is completed. me, i try to get as far in a mix as i can in MIDI before recording everything to audio for effects processing and whatnot, mostly because i want to be able to reproduce the song/track "live" from my synths without much of a change in sound. but that's just me. and my songs kinda suck at the moment, so take that with large amount of sodium chloride... -- Bruddah Max Lord of the Dance
