Song Mode only has ONE track, though it can have up to 16 channels on it. 
That's why you can't erase more than one, that's all there is.

I'm not trying to edit a pattern, I'm trying to edit the song. I am 
not using patterns in my song. I'm just realtime recording a song. 
Any suggestions on how to erase one track?? In pattern mode erase 
track works as its supposed to, but not in song mode.
