The notes just go to fast to be able to work with them in a useful way. I know that pressing play the pattern stops and i can edit the pattern, but i cannot longer hear it ! > no (to the best of my knowledge anyway.. would be nice though) yes yes what OS do you have in your xl-7? if you have OS 2.0 installed you can do the last two things.. hit record then move the cursor over the cntln field.. turn the data entry wheel until the quauter note appears.. hit a key and recording starts you can turn it on by pressing and holding tap and pressing the stop button.. you can also access it in the pattern menu.. enstall OS 2.0!!! read the manual addendum.. enjoy!
