Thanks, i found the quarter note and now it works OK. (OS 2.0)
For the rest measure i decided to work with 5 measure tracks and then delete the last measure (doh !).
I still can't figure out how to work one measure at a time...
Jose.

with only one measure instead of working with the whole 8 (or more)
measures ? The notes just go to fast to be able to work with them in
a useful way. I know that pressing play the pattern stops and i can
edit the pattern, but i cannot longer hear it !

no (to the best of my knowledge anyway.. would be nice though)
yes
yes
what OS do you have in your xl-7?
if you have OS 2.0 installed you can do the last two things..
hit record then move the cursor over the cntln field..
turn the data entry wheel until the quauter note appears..
hit a key and recording starts
you can turn it on by pressing and holding tap and pressing the stop
button..
you can also access it in the pattern menu..
enstall OS 2.0!!!
read the manual addendum..
enjoy!
