Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

1) heat: does your XL7 build heat ? mine gets a little hot on top right, 
near the power supply. Is that usual ?

2) pattern extend: mine does nothing ! I select pattern extend to the 
desired number of measures, choose the tracks but nothing changes. Am i 
doing something wrong ? I changed OS a couple of weeks ago, so that is not 
the problem. Need help here.
