A chorused layer takes up twice the polyphony, because it utilises two detuned oscillators. A layer with 12-order filter takes up twice the polyphony. So, a chorused layer with 12-order filter takes up 4 times the polyphony? This always has been obvious for me, but yesterday I thought that maybe, somehow the two oscillators are able to share the filter? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to make sure.
