Sounds like you have some great ROMS. I had an MMT-8, too. Until it died. I may still have the shell. If your electroncs work, and its only the pads that are messed up, maybe you could use mine--for the cost of shipping. As for the mod wheel problem, check all settings. Is keyboard transmitting CC#1 [mod wheel]? Is anything blocking the CC data? Does preset have a patch cord that assigns mod wheel to the synth engine? Is it possible you changed the CC# on the keyboard and the P2K?
