I own an xl7 made in China and never had any problem with the power supply. I hope that will continue. Somebody tell me there were a particular attention to cut the current by another feature ( a multi plug with a button on/off will be a got alternative instead of disconnect your device all the time you don't play with ). Thanks for all your posts and advices. Since IIRC Aaron himself admitted the last produced XX-7 were a bit flaky (hence the dramatic cut in price one would say), I wonder if we could start a survey based on serial numbers and country of production, to ID and track down potentially defective units on the 2nd hand market? My XL-7 aka model #7750 is as follows: #040202618 - shipped with OS 1.31 - Made in China - Bought 09/2002 Works okay last time I tried, but maybe it's just luck. :) -- Sebastien, -=-=-=-=-= I tried switching to gum but couldn't keep it lit.
