Re: Circuits

2004-12-29 by George Falconer

Was confirmed by the service department in Sound Control (store where
I purchased it)that the power supply is indeed dead. They reckon they
will need to send it back to Emu, but I'm unsure where exactly that
is these days. I called Emu support, which is based in Ireland, but
they said they don't repair. (so its probably a call centre) I
thought they should just send the faulty p/s to Emu for confirmation
and replacement, but they reckon the whole unit will need to go
somewhere.

The "year to the day" power failure is a bit spooky - perhaps they
were all programmed this way! :)

Whilst I have every faith this will all come right (eventually) I am
a bit cheesed of that a few weeks after I purchased what I presumed
to be a great bit of gear with a marvellous future is now redundant
and doesn't really have anyone interested in it anymore. There's alot
to be said about sticking with Roland / Yamaha / Korg in this case.
