The E-Mu sequencer OS does not have a sysex editor. However, you can embed sysex commands in patterns. A few months ago I successfully tested placing sysex commands in a pattern to change the sound parameters of a preset on the fly. I did not test sending sysex externally, but I would encourage you to try the approach. With a software sequencer (in my case, Cakewalk), I embedded the sysex command in a test pattern, saved it as a *.mid file, and sent it to my E-Mu via e-loader. If memory serves me well, I shared the desire to embed sysex in a post, Aaron confirmed it would be possible, and I may have shared my test procedures.
