The E-Mu sequencer OS does not have a sysex editor. However, you can
embed sysex commands in patterns. A few months ago I successfully
tested placing sysex commands in a pattern to change the sound
parameters of a preset on the fly. I did not test sending sysex
externally, but I would encourage you to try the approach.
With a software sequencer (in my case, Cakewalk), I embedded the
sysex command in a test pattern, saved it as a *.mid file, and sent
it to my E-Mu via e-loader.
If memory serves me well, I shared the desire to embed sysex in a
post, Aaron confirmed it would be possible, and I may have shared my
test procedures.
Hope this helps.
