If you mean "all that non-knob midi data going to external gear," the answer is yes. However, I am not sure this is what "it" really means. If I am right, I hope the following helps: If all that data is not routed to port A or port B, your built-in controllers only affect the internal synth engine, but if your sequencer is setup to go out port A or port B, it will still go out to external gear. You have the options to (1) transmit/not transmit keyboard and other non-knob on-board controller data and (2) transmit/not transmit knob controller data. There's another function--locaL ON/OFF. Well, think of KEYBOARD OUTPUTS MIDI as LOCAL ONLY (if you have KEYBOARDS [and the other local non-knob controllers] OUTPUTS MIDI = don't transmit. Same thing with KNOBS MIDI OUT. Think of it as LOCAL ONLY for the knobs. BOTTOM LINE: I think of it as: I got my tunes going to internal and external gear and I want to play along, but I don't want the built- in stuff (other than the sequencer) going to the external gear connected to midi ports a and b. Hope this helps. --Steve
