Like them both for there strengths..
MPC sounds fantastic, the timing is rock solid the thing pumps away.
Crap interface though, it really gets in the way for me.
Command station is a lot more hands on and creative i believe. Guess 
you have alot more to hand with the synth and stuff. The real time 
controllers are something that the akai cant touch. 
At the moment its the command station for me. If i want to sample l'll 
dig out the S3000XL
I found that the MPC2000XL would crash alot, even seem to corrupt its 
own data. Ive had the command station do odd things at times but i seem 
to get more done with it.
