RE: [xl7] Re: USB DRivers Help

2005-11-30 by Chris

It works using both, USB1.1 and 2.0.

I have had troubles on my win2k machine after moving (i couldn't make
any more backups, because e-loader couldn't find my mp-7 anymore,
strangely, windows recognized it properly, and it did work before) but
when i connected it to a laptop (running win xp, sp1) i had no troubles
at all.

Now i do all my backups using the laptop and then simply transfer the
files to the w2k for backup.

You know, I was wondering if it had something to do with USB2.0.
That's an interesting point you brought up. Funny how your USB
worked on you old system, but not your new one. All the USB cards
in my computer are 2.0. Anyone know if that's what's going on
here? Has anyone else experianced this perticular problem? Anyone
using their Command Station with USB2.0? I took apart my Command
Station about a month ago, and made sure all the soder points were
connected. I didn't see anything that looked loose or broken. Does
anyone know a way to test the USB port of our Command Stations?

Thanks,
Brandon
