My solution is an alternative of making ties notes in grid edit. This is an alternative solution because you can't have tie note in this record ( simply by the fact that the gate knob increase the value from 1 to 100% of the note quantification and the ties notes are more longer than this value , i've discover it this week in a french forum )
  So the alternative solution is to edit what you want in grid mode and so go to the edit pattern menu to the screen who show the notes and edit manually the notes you want longer.

  Was looking to use Grid Recording for something other than drumming,
essientially was considering the possibility of using it as a means
for programming bass lines, only hang up I was running into was
setting up note ties.  Does anyone know of a means of establishing
note ties while programming in grid mode?
