The only problem with doing something like step edit is the amount of
time it takes. Adjusting things via knob would be slower than I would
have liked, but still fairly fast. Getting much deeper than that
begins to negate the purpose I was looking for, which was essientially
programming basslines in a 303 (or more so 777) like manner in real time.
