thank you again - that sounds interesting. but this time i think i didn\ufffdt
fully understand.

but how do you get a dry signal to the mains? i need that because i
definitely use the 2 subs for kick, snare, hihats & bass (all panned l/r to
get 4 single outs) to add eq and make it suit the location. therefore i\ufffdve
got only 2 sends left - either 1 fx / 1 dry or 2 fx. i definitely cannot
send my chords & sequences to either of the sub outs because the eqs almost
never fit.
regarding the midi-control: i realize now there\ufffds no such option but maybe
there\ufffds a weird work-around somewhere ?
