The XL-7 is polyphonic (the MX is not), 32-part multitimbral, has a much more powerful synthesis engine, a lot more samples, can do longer patterns (32 bar vs. 4, I believe), can mix tracks from different patterns, has a higher resolution sequencer, has more outputs, better sound quality, etc. The Electribe is cool for what it is, but compared to the XL-7 it's a toy. The best things about it are the simple, immediate interface, small size, and the funky effects, probably. Oh, and if it gets trashed at a gig it probably won't break your heart. Lots of people are doing interesting things with them, though. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, Dacian Victor <dacian_victor@...> wrote: > > > > I'm curios, what are main diference between these 2 ??? > EMU XL-7 vs. Korg Electribe MX > > Korg Electribe it's a lot smaller @:), but i have no idee how it's sound !!! > > > Daci > > > --------------------------------- > Want to start your own business?
