Re: How to save your presets banks in your command station as a sysex file????

2007-04-08 by steve_the_composer

So far as I know, nobody has written or released any software to
specifically use the E-Mu usb port except E-Mu's E-Loader, which
doesn't do presets. (And I haven't the foggiest idea of how to tap
into the E-Mu usb drivers to give it a try. In fact, over the years I
have never been able to get them to work on an XP computer!)

I think you can pick up usb midi interfaces for $20-30, but I haven't
priced them in a while.

It sounds like backing up presets from one Command Station to the
other is your best shot--as long as you don't accidentally over write
important presets in the destination.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
