I tried running my MP-7 on a converter (transformator that halves the voltage - 240 to 120, 220 to 110,...) but the case gets hot anyways. I only measured with my hand, but the temperature seems the same (about 50 degrees Celsius) - that's right under the PSU. I'll see if I can install a fan somewhere. The Command Stations are definitely not laptop machines... Maybe in the Arctic ;) > My question is to know if these failures happens when the XX7 are used > in 110V power. Do all the failures that happened happened in countries > where the power is 220V ? Any US user who had similar problem ? > Also the problem seems not related to the china/usa different > manufactures, since reports of made in USA command stations are numerous. > Maybe if we know that 110v is better, we simply have to buy a 220-110v > adaptator. > My 2 cents... >
