Just to clarify what we're asking for here, before this turns into a confusing mess ;) If you are in Pattern Mode (ie the LED labelled Pattern under the main display is lit up) and you press Save, the default option is "Save Pattern". If you are in Preset Mode (ie the LED labelled Preset under the main display is lit up), then the default option after pressing Save will be "Save Preset". The issue I was talking about, is that you can be in Preset Mode, and be in the Pattern Edit screens still, which could be confusing if you forget you're still in Preset Mode and go to save your Pattern changes. David brings up a good point I didn't think about, in that you can be in Pattern mode too, and still be changing things in the Preset Edit menu, which can be equally confusing. rEalm I would have to agree with realm on this one. When I'm editing a preset, I should be able to hit save and it saves the preset. Also, it would be nice if you could "lock" your presets to prevent accidental overwriting :)
