Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I have added two new feature requests but will repeat them here for 
Sean:

1. External USB flash card reader implementation; either an E-mu 
unit, or implementation for an existing 3rd party unit for non-
computer backup and restore.

2. POWER BUTTON: Ack! After having this for only a day, I have a 
couple of times narrowly missed having a power down inadvertently by 
brushing the ON/OFF button while Filter Tweaking. I caught it just 
in time only because my eyes were generally fixated on the screen.

I can imagine the horror of horrors in live use that all the other 
distractions will cause when this happens and you DON'T catch it in 
time!!

My solution (actually Waldorf does this well): You have to press and 
hold the power button down for 5 or more seconds to power down; a 
press of any less duration does nothing. Viola, no more accidents! 
This seems easy enough to implement and makes sense, right?
