You need to have the midi port set up on your
computer. On my computer I have to set this up through BIOS.
Sometimes this is a bit of a difficult task. Look for a section that says
MPU401 in your computers start up configuration and enable it.
If you have a joystick port, it should work... What should be there for
input is actually somthing like "MPU 401 midi port" or "VIA Midi port"
...
play around with your settings, it could be
anything... if all else fails get one of those USB midi
devices...
