The reset helped. It steps are listed on the EMU site in the Knowledge Base as note 1018. Basically it is holding both cursor keys down while powering on. Scroll to #17 in the menu and hit the enter key twice. Wait for the process to finish. Scroll to 18 in the menu and hit enter twice again.
