Re: [xl7] What to title

2002-08-13 by Greg Oler

Cool, that helps a little. Might just be known as
Soundsmiths or some other enginer type title. I am not
sure what kind of crowd I would want draw just yet.
Probably more of a industrial/techno/house crowd since
I had been playing guitar for that genre. Who knows, I
will post material on the various sites and see what
kind of feed back I get. BTW, that was a cool site you
attached.

Thanks again,
Greg

Blurry! Yes. Especially since DJs are now
releasing proper
albums (Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka).

I believe it depends on the audience you're going for,
as well as what
type of venues you're playing. Other than that,
I'm sure it's
subjective; each artist has his own
definition/identity. I don't
call myself a DJ, but I haven't ruled out the idea of
mixing an hour long
set rather than segmenting a set with traditional song
breaks. If I
did, I wouldn't consider myself a DJ, but the flyers
might mention a
"DJ set" to help provide the appropriate
crowd.
