Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hey everyone, i think i figured out a way to get some really awesome 
Lo-FI sounds out of my MP-7! i was going to give up hope and sell my 
unit but then i figured this out:

pick a drumkit. set the filter to the Earlyrizer one.
adjust the Filter Cutoff knob to about halfway.
then adjust the Filter Q to about three quarters of the way.
turn up the amp/vol a little to compensate and there it is!

there are several variations for this i've found as well, but i don't 
really have time to post them now. any feedback or other suggestions 
would be greatly appreciated.
