Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello,

    My MP7 should arrive in the mail on Nov 6th in plenty of time to prepare
for the contest Wooooooo hoooo! My decision to purchase it was largely due
to your awesome user group! You guyz rock! It sounds like this box can get
fairly complex and you all seem to do a good job of helping each other out.
I have already learned a lot from the group and i don't even have my machime
yet!

As a new user I would love any advice you all have to offer on software or
anything. Like what ever you do don't do this...... or stuff like that.

 I plan on using Digital performer 3 since I already have it (have no clue
how to use it). Would any one recommend a sound editor like sound logic
diver?? How useful are these types of programs? ;)

I held an electronic artist ( Trancenden "Peace Love Beats" Aniligital
Music) in the top 10 CMJ RPM charts for 3 weeks last winter! Universal
wanted to buy 50,000 CD's from him. For any one that is not familiar with
CMJ it stands for College Media Journal which = the college charts!  I have
no intention of soliciting any further to this group, just lettin ya know
who I am. Thanks!
