I also got this problem from out of the blue....opened up unit, took out 
rom's and replaced, made sure the surface of the base and cover lined up 
perfectly and tigtened down the screws quite tightly...whatever 
magic...buzz gone...I also made sure the power supply wires were tucked out 
of the way as they can kind of get pushed down toward the circuit 
boards...whatever combo did what, it does not buzz in the phones or 
anywhere...good luck
