Well, the drum pad allows me to configure each pad's midi channel.

Sorry, but I don't think I understand your question very well.

Yes, probably this is the reason. Is there a way to record to more 
than on track at a time?

Yo, EMU people, is this issue (recording to multiple tracks at once)
