AHHHH! You're using an external drum pad? I thought you were using the XX-7's drum pads, this makes more sense now. You don't have Rechannelize turned on in the MIDI menu? I don't think there's a way to record to more than one track at once, but there is a workaround. Simply copy the track containing all of the data to other tracks, and then set eachof those to the specific midi channel you need. For instance, say you record you drum pad playing onto a XX-7 track, and you're using 6 midi channels. You would then copy the track to 5 other tracks, and set each of their midi channels to a different number that matches what you were playing from the drum pad. rEalm Well, the drum pad allows me to configure each pad's midi channel. Yes, probably this is the reason. Is there a way to record to more than on track at a time? Yo, EMU people, is this issue (recording to multiple tracks at once) being taken care of in the new OS? :) Thnak you.
