Copy a blank pattern over it using Copy Pattern in the Save/Copy menu.

want to "erase".  Select all of the empty patterns in E-loader, and press 
CTRL+I to change the bank number, download.  There's even a Bank worth of 
blank patterns in the fiels section of this group for just that
