E-MU World Expedition Exotic Ins ROM

E-MU World Expedition Exotic Ins ROM

2003-08-25 by Justin Grimley

Anyone got this in their Command Station? Any comments on the
quality, variety of sounds? Or do you know where I can find audio
demos of it?
Thanks,
grimley

This may be early, since I just put it in mine today, but I am pretty
impressed by it - lots and lots of perc, pretty good plucked
instruments and some nice bowed ones and OK winds - but I am a wind
player and I am never very happy with any wind samples, ever, so take
that with a grain of salt. Playing thru the presets is a gas, I can
tell you that.
A great ROM methinks!

I don't have it, but my friend does.

The percussion is done well, but I didn't like the sustaining instruments at all. They sound really 'ROM'-y and inauthentic. don't think that acoustic instruments can be done much justice within 32 megs of sample space.
