Proteus ROM v. Proteus/1 + Orchestral

I have some tunes that use the Proteus/1+Orchestral. I have considered getting the Proteus ROM. Has anyone done extensive comparisons between the two? I am specifically interested in knowing if the Proteus ROM sounds exactly like the older E-Mu. I have some tunes that use patches with REVERSE SOUND: ON. So far as I can see, this is one of the few features not in the current synth architecture. Thanks.
