Sounds very weird.  Never heard that problem before (especially the
frequency with which you seem to be experiencing it).  This won't solve
the root problem, but have you tried pressing Panic (Home+Enter) to
kill the stuck note?

I noticed this behavior with my MP7 before I upgraded to OS 2.0 ... 
but haven't seen it since.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
