Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

My friend has a weird thing going on when he hits the play button.  No matter what 
the pattern is, a random percussion note will sound just before the sequence starts. 
(happens as the play button is pushed)  He did run the diagnostics and everything 
checks out.  He updated the OS two months ago to 2.0

Any ideas?

Have your friend look at the midi flow with a MIDI Monitor.

I get that too if I change patterns and hit Play too fast, it's like the 
Mute settings haven't loaded yet or something.  Very rare and never a 
problem in my case ....

I'm still learning about my px-7 I got almost a month ago.  I'm amazed at what it can 
do.  (previously was using an rm1x)
