Controlling MS2000R vs. VIRUS

Controlling MS2000R vs. VIRUS

2004-03-07 by n8_j

I noticed in a previous post that some one mentioned sending tracks 9-
12 out to a virus. Does this mean that the virus was recieving 3
seperate event sequences on 3 seperate MIDI channels? IF so, how is
this possible with a MS2000R? On my ms2000, it seems that it will
only receive midi on 1 channel at a time. Is the virus capable of
recieving midi signal on more than on channel at a time?

Any input would be nice

Thanks
Nathan

Yes. The Access Virus is 16 part multi-timbral.

... and the MS2k is only 2 part multi-timbral ... if you are using
a "dual" patch that is. In page 03B of the MS2k edit menu you can
set the midi channel for each timbre. You need to select each timbre
("Timbre select" button on left) then change the midi channel.

Move to quarantaine
