I cant believe this question hasn't been asked. I cant find the 
answer anywhere. How do you turn off hanging notes or stuck notes?

Panic mode: Home/Enter + Midi

I belive it's in the manual.

i think there is no panic button or some like that, sometimes, and only some 
times it helps to change the pattern and then go back, i hope there are 
better answers - sorry

Use the PANIC button (press MIDI+HOME/ENTER button)
