XL7 Mute buttons

Greetings Experts -

It is true that the XL7 cannot send out MUTE commands via MIDI from
the (16) Track Mute Buttons - correct?

thanks -

Ed

True. I used to set the Triggers Mode to send "Notes" and then configured
the software I was controlling to respond to those. Assuming of course,
you're using software.

I assume based on our last conversations this is for Live? You can even
configure Live to match the LED status of the buttons, so when they are
lit, nothign is muted, when they are dark, the Ableton tracks are muted.

Thank you Sir rEalm -

software, yes. Good idea about Trigger Send MIDI Notes - the layout of
the XL7 buttons much easier to navigate on the fly than a keyboard for
this purpose
