Thanks and farewell

Thanks and farewell

2005-02-26 by Christopher Oates

Well, I just sold my Xl-7 to lifeistheformofenergy@.... be nice to
him, as I never upgraded my OS and I lost the CD that came with it. As I no
longer own it, I should be bowing out now. Thanks to everyone for the
various tips over the years.

Bummer for you, Chris. I've done this very thing three times now. NEVER
AGAIN. I have achieved wisdom on this.

My question is: what did (does?) lifeistheformofenergy have before
purchasing this XL-7 from Chris? He's been on here for a while asking usage
questions - I thought they were for an XL7 he already had. Shows me how much
I've been paying attention, I guess. ;D

- hey - my friend has a px7 and I was getting to know
that for a while before I decided to get myself an xl7 ... i did and
still do have my blue box (yamaha rm1x) i have used for sequencing -
everything in my techno needs to be ready for what i call "in the
mix" so i think i will keep the rm1x for various on the fly "fills"
that make that mix in realtime a unique endeavor of life - maybe
later i will find something better for this desired aspect of being
able to interact with the mix in realtime the way i like to - but as
far as creating those fills i am much happier using my xl7 - so far
i am so in love with my xl7 that i want to get to know every little
dynamic of it though and my other gear is going to be quite
jealous... sigh ... ohh well hehehehe
