Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm pretty sure my debut post left a memorable mark on the members of 
this group :) another thing that disapoints me cause i cant figure it 
out is the arp offset mode.

what i wanted to do is set up the arp to play a drumloop on the mp-7 
internaly. is this possible? could i map the drum hits to ccertain 
keys?

i assumed i could do this but i was a bit thrown offf after i read 
about it in the manual. it doesnt look like i can.

You may need to make a patch with multiple layers using specific key
ranges on each layer for your various drum hits. And if necessary, you
can LINK 2 other layered presets to your patch if you really need more.

If you're talking about having a custom ROM made with your own loops,
then yes, it will need to be a chopped up loop.

I am doing this also, except I'm triggering chopped loops from a
laptop with the Command Station.
