RE: [xl7] Digest Number 1799

If you know a little about making your own .ins files, I have something that can help: it's a spreadsheet I made to assemble mine, including all the details of the Protean, World, Vintage, and Beat Garden ROMs. I just uploaded it to the files section into a folder called "Sequencer Support" -m@

Hi Guys can you help me out .... I have everything loaded up but the MP
doesent recall patches when I open a project in Sonar 5 ... I have a Yamaha
RS7000 with .ins in Sonar at it works fine.
On the MP I have to scroll to the proper rom and see the patches as I make
changes in Sonar from the .ins files ... They are acurate and match each
other perfectly.
The only way I have been working around this is saving a multi of the song
on the MP and restoring it ... But i know there must be a way that I can't
figure out ... any help or guidance ??
If I create a pattern in the MP and save it via e-loader and then open it up
in Sonar it asks if I want to send sysex data and I say OK !!! ... The MP
plays all of the presets fine.
Just to be clear the problem I am having is when I write and go fishing for
sounds From/In Sonar .... They don't recall on the MP7 when I re-open in
Sonar.
I have Sonar 5 with an MP7 with 4 ROMs (POP,DRUM,PHATT,WORLD) an XL7 with
just the XL rom and an RS7000 .... I also have another MP7 that I use to
control Sonar and the soft syths.
